Os 3 do Nordeste (Brazil)
The trio originally formed by Parafuso, Zé Cacau and Zé Pacheco, met in 1969 in Rio de Janeiro.
In 1972 they released the first LP titled “The Three of the Northeast” with songs of great success – Forró de Tamanco, Ana Maria and Você Fica Mais Bonita. A success that would be repeated every year as with the album “Prohibido Cochilar” in 1973 (500,000 copies sold), the group over these 49 years has released 37 discs and 3 DVDs.
Currently their songs have become hymns that are played in all the halls of Brazil and the world (Forró do Poeirão, Homem com H, Debaixo dos Panos, Amor com Café, Cama Fofinha, Forro Casamenteiro, Botando Quente, Falador, Morena Louca, Forró Sem Frescura, O Melhor Forro do Mundo, Caipora do Mato, Vendinha da Feira, among others).
During this long trajectory raising the flag of the authentic Forró Pé de Serra, the trio always maintained the same standard of excellence. Currently the trio is formed by Luka (son of the founding member Parafuso, in the zabumba and voice), Curió (main voice and triangle) and Pingo (accordion and voice).
This year, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the trio’s foundation, it is back in this historic show “Os Três Do Nordeste – 49 YEARS OF FORRÓ”, its great successes that have marked generations.
